Elmhurst Outdoors is a family owned and operated business that has been providing outdoor education and recreation opportunities for individuals, families, school groups and businesses for over 15 years. The owners, Gig & Denise, have backgrounds in education and take great pride in providing quality programs, facilities and food.
We operate during the four seasons with cross country skiing on 12 kms of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing during the winter, maple syrup farm tours, homemade pancakes with maple syrup and maple sugar-on-snow in the spring, canoeing and kayaking in the summer, educational programs for school groups in the fall and meeting facilities throughout the year. We have recently added some special events to our list of offerings including Moonlight Snowshoe Hikes on the full moons of winter and Snowshoe & Vittles every Wednesday during the winter months. As well, we are planning a couple of Music & Maple nights beginning in maple sugar season where guests can enjoy some local entertainment and chef prepared maple syrup delights.
We are located at 65 Ganong Road in Erbs Cove, New Brunswick. Our maple syrup farm and cross country ski & snowshoe facility is near the Belleisle Bay, about 5 minutes from Kingston Corner on the Kingston Peninsula, only 15 minutes from Hampton, 45 minutes from Saint John, 1 1/2 hours from Fredericton and Moncton.

Elmhurst Outdoors offers canoeing and kayaking courses at various levels that focus on skill development and safety. Gig and Denise are both canoe and/or kayak instructors with Canoe Kayak New Brunswick and Paddle Canada certifications.
